I Wanted To Sign Sarkodie And Make Him A Global Artist But He Was Not Mentally Ready - Ekon Reveals

Numerous music intellectuals and laymen have been left in obscurity regarding the reason why Akon’s arrangement with King Sark separated after fundamental contacts were laid out.

The Konvict Music manager uncovered that Sarkodie was more focused on building his own domain as a neighborhood artiste prior to breaking worldwide boondocks.

As would be natural for him, “We had plans to make him such a great deal greater however I think at the time his plan was more zeroing in on Ghana, which worked for him. Furthermore I feel that it was an arrangement that worked,”

“All in all, it’s ostensibly or seemingly not –  I boldly know without a doubt that if  Sarkodie stuck to the script, SarK would have been a global artist without any doubt.

“We understood that we truly couldn’t work with Sarkodie  but frankly speaking, Sarkodie simply wasn’t intellectually all set to be signed. We just permitted him to keep moving the manner in which he was moving.

“In Africa when you sign an artist like I wanted to sign Sarkodie from Ghana, you wouldn’t have the authority to control the affairs of the artist and in our case was just a piece of paper so with this long distance, the artist would have sit down and see that we are having a contract so it must be respected accordingly” said Ekon.
