Ati-Zigi was fantastic against Japan despite conceding 4 goals - Didi Dramani

Ati-Zigi has saved just a single clean sheet in nine games for the Black Stars, conceding 14 goals since making his presentation in 2018, beginning and playing an hour and a half in a cordial match against Iceland that finished in a 2-2 draw.

The 25-year-old as of late conceded four goals against Japan which saw him dropped for Ghana’s down against Chile with Abdul Manaf Nurudeen decided to man the post. He was reprimanded after the game yet Didi Dramani exculpated Ati-Zigi of fault.

“Nothing happened to him. He was one of our best keys in the game. Nothing happened to him, he was in great structure and the way that we didn’t involve him in the subsequent game doesn’t have anything to do with that game,” Didi Dramani told Ghana Sports Page.

The accomplished coach added, “He was in his best structure. He made a ton of good positions and great recoveries. As far as the first half, there were such countless up-sides. I’m not in that frame of mind to settle on who did what, no.”

“The black stars are in a group building cycle and we should set out open doors for players to have the option to get out and do the best that they can with out however I believe that he was a valid statement in the primary game.”
