Thank God that Ghana has qualified to the Qatar 2022 world cup. In the Last game against Nigeria, Ghana managed to get a 1-1 draw after 0-0 draw in Kumasi which automatically qualify them to the upcoming world cup which is going to be held in Qatar 2022.
Nigerians were determined and did all the necessary things needed for them to qualify but due to the early goal from Thomas Partey, they needed to score 2 more goals to book their qualification.
Ghana made a lot of mistakes and it’s rather unfortunate that Nigerians couldn’t capitalized.
The defense of Ghana wasn’t on their shape as we see them to be, they were a bit shaken as victor Osimen and other Nigerian strikers were putting pressure on them. The Midfield was also not on form but did well to contain the pressure to reduce the long range balls to the defenders.
The Attackers also did well. They managed to shoot at least 5 times but wasn’t clinical enough to get a goal for Ghana. Though the supplies wasn’t coming from the midfielders but they wasn’t bad at all.
The coach, Otto Addo, did a very good job despite taking the team on a hurry and couldn’t make any changes prior to this match. His intentions and everything was on point.
We congratulate Ghana for doing all what they can do qualify for the world cup.
