Mexican Mayor marries alligator in a colorful wedding ceremony

A Mexican city chairman Victor Hugo Sosa has supposedly hitched a crocodile in an old custom, commending his native roots and requesting favorable luck for his local area.

Sosa who is the city chairman of a modest community called San Pedro Huamula, Victor Hugo Sosa, has hitched the reptile who was wearing an ordinary white piece of clothing that addresses nature and godliness.

Anadolu Agency says the marriage between the god and the local area’s chief addresses the joining between the heavenly and humankind.

The function embodies the syncretism normal all through native networks and Mexican culture, where pre-Hispanic customs are interlaced with Catholic practices.

“My wedding with this alligator, this custom is one of a kind, everyone is looking up to, in our town… it means the association of two societies {Human and Animals}, the Huave nation of San Mateo del Mar and our town of San Pedro Huamelula, the association of these two societies in which overflow is accomplished for our children,” said Hugo Sosa.
