Only a couple of days prior, four teacher associations proclaimed a cross country strike over the public authority’s failure to fulfill the time constraint for their requests for the installment of Cost of Living Allowance (COLA).
This follows the lapse of a June 30 cutoff time the associations gave the public authority.
The associations are the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT), Teachers and Educational Workers’ Union (TEWU) and Coalition of Concerned Teachers (CCT).
At a joint public interview, by the schooling associations on the stipend, the teacher bunches communicated disillusionment at the public authority’s inability to regard their calls.
It is at the rear of this improvement that Kumawood entertainer, Nana Yeboah, has mercilessly slid on these teachers in a viral video.
As indicated by incensed Nana Yeboah, these teachers are extremely underhanded and dissatisfied on the grounds that, during the COVID period, the public authority paid them their full compensations despite the way that they were home for an entire year.
In Nana Yeboah’s criticism video to the showing associations, he asked Nana Addo is sack each of the teachers protesting and supplant them with new alumni.
Nana Yeboah further depicted their strike activity as “garbage” in light of the fact that the public authority is in any event, finding it challenging to fix basic issues yet they are requesting more cash which is extremely obtuse on their part.
